Updated: Jan 20

There are so many reasons to visit Dartmouth - the range of activities in and around us is amazing, when you think about it. From walks and watersports to coves and castles, gardens and bustling markets…..there’s a diverse range of fabulous attractions and activities on our doorstep. Here are some suggestions that you may not have yet explored……

Fast Rabbit Farm Gardens on the outskirts of Dartmouth is a true find. A real gem nestling in the rolling countryside and bursting with pathways through wildflower meadows and brimming with wildlife, butterflies and bees, this is a real “getaway from it all” paradise to unwind and relax. https://www.fastrabbitfarm.co.uk

For more fast paced, high octane activities, have you tried the Raptor? The UK’s fastest commercial RIB ride - which operates out of Torquay Marina - the Raptor is an unforgettable experience, achieving speeds in excess of 70mph! Amazing acceleration and performing twists and turns in the bay, Raptor is a wonderful way to view the coastline of Torbay.

Walking with llamas is a lovely experience. They are friendly, cooperative, docile souls who enjoy a gentle walk and make wonderful companions. Great for all ages, we thoroughly enjoyed our Llama Walk on Dartmoor and highly recommend it. Contact https://www.dartmoorllamawalks.co.uk/ for more information and to book.

A walk at Little Dartmouth takes some beating for the fabulous, panoramic scenery that greets you. There is a smashing circular walk from Dartmouth Castle out towards Stoke Fleming, or you can park at Little Dartmouth car park. You won’t be disappointed - the views afforded along this walk are incredible.

Treat yourselves to the ultimate luxury on board the Fizz Boat, Dartmouth. This is a memorable and exclusive way to cruise the sights of the River Dart in Dartmouth, with a range of tempting dining packages. We advise to book ahead, as it gets extremely popular! https://www.thefizzboat.co.uk/

Have we got you thinking yet about new and exciting experiences, or ways to relax and unwind? There’s almost too much choice!

But this isn’t the full extent of the list of tips! Stay tuned and we’ll be back with more ideas to help you plan another fabulous holiday here in beautiful Dartmouth.
